Geometry, Semester 2 – Accelerate
$125.00
The fundamental purpose of this course is to formalize and extend student’s geometric experiences from the middle grades. Students will explore more complex geometric situations and deepen their explanations of geometric relationships, moving towards formal mathematical arguments. Concepts taught include the basic elements of geometry, parallel and perpendicular lines, the coordinate plane, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles, trigonometry, congruence and similarity, surface area, volume and transformations.
Pre-Requisite: Algebra I
