PHSCS 041: Physics, Part 1 – Expand

This course explores how and why objects move and interact. Students will learn to represent and analyze motion; apply mathematical models to predict physical behavior; and use conservation principles to solve problems involving momentum, collisions, work, energy, and heat transfer. They will also use physics concepts to design solutions and investigate how energy can be transformed from one form to another. This is the first course in a two-part Physics series. This course also encompasses Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
