Sociology is the study of society or human groups. In order to understand society, we must be able to shift from one perspective to another and to see the world through the eyes of others. The study of sociology helps us make connections between human behavior and society. It helps us understand the processes that have shaped the features we observe around us today, as well as the ways those features may be different tomorrow. This course will explore the way social interaction influences personality development, adolescence and deviant behavior in society.
